Lempuyang Temple Tour — Gate of Heaven

Package A costs $50 / IDR 850K per car for 1–7 passengers. Package B starts from IDR 1.125K for 1 person, IDR 575K/pax for 2–4, IDR 425K/pax for 5–7, and IDR 450K/pax for groups of 8–15 in a Toyota HiAce.

The best light at Lempuyang’s Gate of Heaven is between 06:00–09:00 AM when Mount Agung is visible in the background. This is why the tour departs from Ubud at 04:30 AM. By midday, queues for the famous gate photo can exceed 2–3 hours.

A sarong (kain) is required at Lempuyang Temple — sarongs are available for rent at the entrance and are provided by your driver. Modest clothing is recommended (shoulders and knees covered). Women who are menstruating are traditionally not permitted to enter the temple.

This is our longest day tour — approximately 13–15 hours including all stops. Departure is at 04:00–04:30 AM and return is around 18:00–19:00. The early start and distance to East Bali make this a full commitment, but it covers four of Bali’s most beautiful destinations in one day.
